Fall marathon training officially started on June 6th! I’ve started a training blog to help keep me on track and to share the joys of training and fueling to run 26.2 miles with a goal time of 4:18. The training plan is the Hanson Marathon Method. I plan to post mid-week posts on training, fueling, food, etc. and then do weekly recap to summarize how the week went, how I’m feeling, what’s working, what’s not working, etc.
I’m training for two marathons this year – Chicago and NYC. This isn’t my first marathon, I did the Marine Corp Marathon last year. I actually SWORE that I would never to another one after that, but here I am.
